These are some pictures I took during the first four days with my new DMC-FZ35. All were shot as JPEG Fine, at various settings, and at ISOs ranging from 80 to 1600. Most received some additional processing in LightZone to bring out their finer qualities.
Others will do the more analytical tests, photographing charts and test patterns at different ISO settings. Or they may take a few shots and then display a few enlarged pictures that prove, once and for all, that raw on the FZ35 is better than JPEG.
What I was after was to see if, put into a situation, the camera could deliver a worthy photographic result. This is the real challenge for any camera -- will you come back with a picture, and how good will the picture be? I wanted to see how the FZ35 functioned as a go-anywhere. shoot-anything camera.
I'm very happy with the results so far. The DMC-FZ35 is definitely a camera with great possibilities.
