There are many beautiful things to photograph here in the wilds of Northern Virginia. Most of the pictures I shoot now are of things within walking distance of our house. But there are some scenes that draw you back again and again as they change with the different light and the different seasons.
One of my favorites is the scene comprised by the field with the little farmhouse, the tractor and the interesting ball-shaped tree. I ended up shooting from different angles, at different times of the day and different times of the year.
It hasn't changed much, except the tractor isn't there anymore. It's been replaced by a rather large recreational vehicle of some sort. Very unphotogenic. I guess the moral is to shoot things when you can. They won't be around forever.
As for technical info, most of these pictures were taken with my trusty Panasonic DMC-FZ5 and processed in either Lightzone or Paintshop Pro.
